Spring is on it’s Way

I had to laugh, really laugh, after last month’s blog post about preparing for a Summer Garden because since then the US has experienced North Pole type weather with a Nor’easter on the eastern coastline and two or more snowstorms over a large part of the US. Snow fell in some places that have not seen snow in years. It kind of made my ‘Plan for Summer’ post a little out of reach.

But wait, it is February already and Spring’s official date is March 21st. That’s a mere 6 weeks away. I know, I know, Mr. Groundhog saw his shadow, although most of us knew what was already predicted. So, what do we do while we are waiting for Mr. Winter to end and Ms. Spring to begin? A great question and glad you asked.

Maybe some of you have prepared your taxes, shopped ‘after Christmas’ sales, watched your favorite movies and TV shows… again, and are exhausted. Some of you had a rough year in 2021 and are hoping, really hoping, for a better 2022. Me too.

Here is a fun list from a hellogiggles post from 2014.  I especially like number 10, but I might substitute it for something else!

On a more serious note – if we even need a more serious note, here is some helpful advice from Glover Nursery. If you are able to see your ground before April, these 5 prespring tips will get you ready for the next season.

Until next time, stay hopeful, Spring is just around the corner.

Remember the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart.

With Love and Care,

Dr. Michele
